Cititech Social

Terms of service

Last updated 10 October 2026

These terms cover your use of Cititech Social, a client-facing social media scheduling service run by Cititech using the open-source TryPost software. By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

The service

Cititech Social lets clients sign in to their own workspaces, create and review original content, and schedule or publish posts to social accounts they have the right to manage. Client access is arranged by invitation. Network availability depends on permissions and platform approval. Facebook Pages and Instagram publishing are available; TikTok public publishing is not yet enabled and current TikTok use is limited to sandbox testing.

Accounts

Cititech provisions accounts for its clients, and workspace members can invite others. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for everything done through your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has got into it.

Acceptable use

You must not use the service to:

You stay responsible for your content and for how it is published on each network. For TikTok, review the selected creator, audience, interaction settings and commercial disclosures, and accept the required Music Usage Confirmation before publishing. Do not publish music or other material without the necessary rights.

Your data

Our privacy policy explains what we hold and why. You can disconnect a channel or delete your account at any time. See the data deletion instructions.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is”. We try to keep it running but do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a post will always publish at the scheduled time. Social networks can change or withdraw their APIs without notice, and that is outside our control.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Cititech is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, reputation or data arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Ending access

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end an account if these terms are broken, if a network requires it, or if we stop offering the service. When an account ends, its data is handled as described in the privacy policy.

Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page with its date, and continued use after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
